Last week— January 14, 2026 — we weren’t just drinking craft beers at Aristaeus Brewing in Langhorne. We were marking a shift. A necessary one.
Jonesy launched his book: Fire Your Boss: Get Paid to Be Yourself. And let me tell you — it wasn’t some stiff, corporate handshake circle. No catering trays. No phony applause. Just people who’ve had enough of playing small.
Frank Garon and I were there not just to show support . . . but because we believe in the message. We lived parts of it. Helped shape pieces of it. And stood beside a man who had the guts to say what most only whisper: You don’t need permission to live your life.
Jonesy talked about walking away from the safety net. From the slow drip of life under fluorescent lights. He talked about building something real. Something that pays you to be you — not a watered-down version of what your boss wants.
There were no speeches . . . just stories. Real stories. A few laughs, some truth bombs, and a room full of people nodding along because deep down, they know — it’s time to stop renting your time to someone else’s dream.
We walked out with signed copies. Sure. But more importantly, we walked out with a reminder:
You can walk away.
You can build something.
And you don’t need a corporate title to matter.
